Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan.
Imran Khan is one of Pakistan's most famous sports personalities, having led the Pakistan cricket team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. He retired from cricket after the tournament and turned his attention to philanthropy and politics. In 1996, he founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party and began his political career.
Imran Khan has been a vocal critic of corruption in Pakistan's political system and has campaigned on an anti-corruption platform. He ran for the Prime Minister's office several times before being elected in 2018. His party won the most seats in the general election, and he was subsequently appointed as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has focused on tackling corruption, strengthening Pakistan's economy, and improving the country's international relations. He has also initiated various social welfare programs to help the poor and underprivileged segments of society.
Throughout his career, Imran Khan has received numerous accolades for his achievements, including being inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame and receiving Pakistan's highest civilian award, the Nishan-e-Imtiaz.
